Persephone Holds On Against AZM
The main event saw CMLL Women’s World Champion Persephone defend her crown against AZM, one of the standout stars of Japan’s STARDOM promotion. The cross-promotional clash had fans buzzing, and Persephone walked out of Arena México with her championship intact, turning back the visiting challenger in the night’s biggest match.
The semi-main event was a title affair of its own: the Hermanos Chávez (Ángel de Oro and Niebla Roja) put the CMLL World Tag Team Championship on the line against Fuerza Poblana’s Guerrero Maya Jr. and Xelhua. The champions delivered, scoring the pinfall to retain their gold.

The undercard kept the family-friendly Sunday crowd on its feet. Fuerza Poblana’s Stigma and Rayo Metálico opened the show with a win over Dinastía Pantera (Pantera Jr. and Hijo del Pantera). Emersyn Jayne and Miyu Amasaki teamed up to defeat India Sioux and Sanely, while the Valientes (Olympia and Hera) picked up a victory over the Infernales (Dark Silueta and Valkyria).
One bout ended in controversy: the Depredadores (Volador Jr., Vegas Depredador, Kimba and Tenochca) defeated Fuerza Poblana’s Esfinge, Fugaz, Star Black and Gallo Jr. by disqualification, setting up what could be a heated rematch down the line.
With two successful title defenses and an undefeated night for the champions, Domingo Familiar proved once again why Arena México remains the cathedral of lucha libre.
