Prime Video is bringing the Korean office romance “Nine to Six” to global audiences, with Park Min-young, Yook Sung-jae and Go Soo leading the 12-episode series.
The Story
Park Min-young — star of “Marry My Husband” — plays Kang Yi-ji, a senior manager on the legal team at a company called Chronic Motors. Logical and driven, Yi-ji has carved out her place in a workplace dominated by men and regards love and marriage as little more than a passing chemical impulse. She once wanted to study astronomy, but her mother pushed her toward law.
Yook Sung-jae of K-pop group BtoB co-stars as Han Seon Woo, the warm-hearted younger man who changes her outlook, while Go Soo plays elite general manager Park Hyun Tae — returning to the romance genre for the first time in 15 years.
A Proven Format, A Global Stage
The series is adapted from the popular 2021 Chinese series “The Rational Life,” giving the K-drama remake a tested storytelling foundation. Prime Video’s global rollout means international fans can follow the office romance from day one.
The drama is set to premiere November 25 at 9 p.m. KST.
