Sid Eudy inducted into Arkansas Walk of Fame
According to a story in The Sentinel-Record, Eudy was among the 2026 inductees into the Arkansas Walk of Fame, which honors notable figures from the state. The recognition comes in his home state, a fitting tribute for a wrestler whose career took him to the very top of the industry.
Eudy passed away in August 2024, and the honors since then have been steady. In April 2026, WWE posthumously inducted him into the Hall of Fame via the Legacy Wing, recognizing a career that included two runs as WWF Champion. Sid was one of the most physically dominant stars of his era, a 6-foot-9 powerhouse whose intensity and presence made him a main-event fixture in both WWF and WCW during the 1990s.
Remembering Sycho Sid’s legacy
The Arkansas honor is also a reminder of how complicated posthumous recognition can be. Eudy’s son has publicly shared his thoughts about WWE’s honoring of his father, saying he found it disappointing and disrespectful, a reminder that behind every wrestling legend is a family with its own view of how that legacy should be handled.
Fans, meanwhile, have kept Sid’s memory alive in their own way. In late August, a Sycho Sid Memorial Benefit Show took place in Memphis, Tennessee, with WWE talent Jordynne Grace among the participants. Between that show, the Hall of Fame induction and now the Arkansas Walk of Fame, 2026 has become a year of remembrance for a wrestler who never needed a long speech to make an impression.
