Shawn Michaels and the NXT roster have parodied the classic RAW 1000 ad to make sure fans do not miss next week’s show — because WWE NXT is moving to a rare Wednesday slot, and the message, true to the original, gets hilariously lost along the way.

Shawn Michaels and NXT Roster Parody RAW 1000 Ad for Wednesday NXT
Next week’s WWE NXT is scheduled to take place on a rare Wednesday as a result of the US elections, so NXT has begun finding creative ways to advertise the night change and make sure fans know when to tune in.
In a new video posted by Shawn Michaels, HBK and several members of the NXT roster parody the old ad for the 1000th episode of WWE RAW, in which several WWE superstars featured in a spot where the roster gradually misunderstood what the person before them had said, in an elaborate game of Chinese Whispers. The NXT version features Zilla Fatu, Wren Sinclair, Hank and Tank, Shiloh Hill and more.
Zilla Fatu Gets One Job: Tell Everyone NXT Moves to Wednesday, November 4
Michaels set up the joke himself on social media, writing: “I gave @Zillafatu ONE job… make sure everybody knows when #WWENXT is on next week.” Then, for the record, he spelled it out clearly: “We’re moving to WEDNESDAY, November 4th at 8/7c on @TheCW and @espn Unlimited. Somebody please pass that along.”
The parody works because it leans into the exact problem NXT is trying to solve. A one-off night change is easy to miss, especially for a show fans habitually watch on Tuesdays, so turning the announcement into a shareable, funny video — with a roster full of familiar faces passing the message along, garbled or not — is a smart way to spread the word.
And there is plenty to tune in for. Both John Cena and Cody Rhodes are scheduled to appear on next week’s edition of WWE NXT, giving fans another reason to make sure they have Wednesday, November 4 circled.
