A brand-new TV anime adaptation is officially on the way for Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires (Hiiragi-san no Kyūketsu Jijō), the manga by Miki Yoshikawa of A Couple of Cuckoos fame. The announcement arrived on Saturday alongside the launch of a dedicated official website and a first teaser visual from the anime’s production committee.

Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires TV anime confirmed by UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS
The TV anime will be produced by UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS, the TMS Entertainment production label behind several recent anime projects. The newly unveiled key visual teases the manga’s cozy gothic tone, showing the eccentric Hiragi household ready for its animated debut.
The manga follows Shota Minamoto, a junior-high student living in a children’s home after becoming an orphan. His life turns upside down when he is adopted by a wealthy family living in a luxurious Japanese-style estate. Warmly welcomed into their home, Shota begins to let his guard down — until he discovers the family’s unthinkable secret: they are vampires. What unfolds is a cozy, bloody love comedy built around a very unconventional family.
Miki Yoshikawa’s manga: publication history and English release
Yoshikawa first debuted the manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in October 2021, after publishing a one-shot version of the family-comedy concept in 2019. The series has now reached six compiled volumes, with the sixth released in November 2025.
English-speaking readers can already catch up: the manga is available in English on Kodansha’s K MANGA service, which pitches it as “a new work from the creator of A Couple of Cuckoos showcasing a different kind of ‘family.'”
No broadcast date, cast or staff details have been revealed yet. As a fresh adaptation of a series from a proven hit-maker, the TV anime will be one to watch — stay tuned for more updates.
