Heo Sung Tae reprises his role as Jung Chae Man, the man who founded the Traffic Crime Investigation Team. He personally scouted the team’s talent and leads from behind, letting each member play to their strengths. His character carries a painful backstory — he lost his wife in a hit-and-run accident — and brings a distinctive intensity to every traffic crime case.
The new stills show Jung Chae Man back in the captain’s seat, standing before a case briefing board with his arms folded, watching his team with the steady gaze of a veteran detective. Speaking about returning, Heo Sung Tae said this is his first time headlining a series through a second season, and he hopes viewers connect with the weight of the show’s themes. He named the expanded investigation scope as Season 2’s biggest change: with T.C.I. activity now nationwide, the car action scenes have grown bigger and been upgraded. Because the drama mirrors traffic crimes covered in real news, he expects it to feel even more realistic.
