The Remarried Empress Supporting Cast: Lee Bong Ryun, Choi Dae Hoon and More
Lee Bong Ryun plays Countess Eliza, the head lady-in-waiting of the Western Palace, who faithfully remains by Empress Navier’s side. The calm and composed Eliza is a trusty ally who carefully watches over Navier amidst the complicated intrigue of the imperial palace — like a mother at times, an older sister at others.
Choi Dae Hoon plays McKenna, both cousin and secretary of Prince Heinrey. As the only person able to nag and scold the free-spirited prince, McKenna constantly worries about Heinrey’s unpredictable behavior, and their close, informal dynamic is set to add lighthearted fun to the story.
Jung Young Joo and Park Ho San Round Out the Cast
Nam Yoon Ho plays Baron Lante, the meticulous secretary of Emperor Sovieshu who handles all imperial affairs, great and small. Since his work involves the Empress, he frequently crosses paths with Eliza — and viewers may want to watch how the two respond when turbulence rocks the Emperor and Empress’s relationship.
Jung Young Joo plays the scheming Albani, who adopts Rashta in an attempt to restore her fallen family’s power and fortune while working relentlessly to isolate Empress Navier. Finally, Park Ho San plays Viscount Lotteshu, Rashta’s former master, who knows the secret past she desperately wants to hide — and his sudden arrival puts her relationship with the emperor at risk.
Based on the popular web novel of the same name, “The Remarried Empress” tells the story of Navier (Shin Min Ah), the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire. When her husband Sovieshu (Ju Ji Hoon) cheats on her with Rashta (Lee Se Young) and divorces her, Navier responds by marrying Heinrey (Lee Jong Suk), the prince of the Western Empire.
