The new cast additions bring the newest members of the in-universe story to life. Julia Hoshimiya will voice Maika Kinjo, Kana Asahi will voice Aoi Reisawa, and Kanae Yuasa will voice Mion Shinowa. All three characters represent the fresh wave of idols joining the group as older members move on.

They join an already stacked main cast led by Nozomi Nirei as Kaho Hinoshita, Kokona Nonaka as Sayaka Murano, Kanna Kan as Rurino Osawa, Hina Sakurai as Ginko Momose, Fuka Hayama as Kosuzu Kachimachi, Rin Kurusu as Hime Anyoji, Miu Miyake as Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld, and Amane Shindo as Izumi Katsuragi.

What Makes Hasunosora Different From Other Love Live! Groups

Hasunosora has always been the odd one out in the best way. Instead of launching as an anime, the project began as the smartphone app Link! Like! Love Live!, which launched on April 15, 2023. Fans have spent over two years developing the members in real time through interactive storytelling, 3D concerts, and social media-style engagement with the idols.

The group made its musical debut with “Dream Believers,” their first group single, and the project has leaned into a living timeline: final-year members graduate and leave the group just like real students, while new members join with each school year. That real-time structure gives the anime a rich, lived-in world to build on.

The Anime Is Part of a Bigger Hasunosora Push

The TV series is being produced at Sublimation with Go Kurosaki directing and Fumiaki Maruto handling the scripts. Before the series even premieres, the Bloom Garden Party 3D anime film will hit Japanese theaters, giving fans a big-screen introduction to the group’s new era.

For a franchise that has spent the past few years experimenting with formats, Hasunosora feels like its boldest swing yet. With the new key visual out and the cast growing, January 2027 can’t come soon enough.
