There is a fresh update on Jordynne Grace, and it is a mixed bag for fans of The Juggernaut. WWE reportedly had tentative creative plans for the former TNA Knockouts World Champion as recently as September, but right now she is simply not in the company’s creative plans.

According to Fightful Select, the working plan back in September was to start teasing Grace and Ivy Nile as a tag team later that month, with vignettes that WWE had already filmed a while back. Those vignettes were reportedly shot over the summer, and there was even speculation that the trademark filed for “Iron Built” was meant for their new alliance. But the pairing never made it to television.
Months Away From the Ring
Grace has not wrestled at all since June, when she competed on WWE Main Event. Her last appearance on the main shows dates back to the go-home edition of SmackDown before WrestleMania 42 on April 17, where she lost to Tiffany Stratton in a number one contender’s match for the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
The good news: her absence is not injury-related. WWE sources stress that she is simply not factored into current storylines, with one backstage report noting that the SmackDown women’s division is crowded with existing programs. Rather than a sign of departure, the situation has been compared to Johnny Gargano, who spent months without a prominent storyline before suddenly landing in a number one contender’s match.
In the meantime, Grace has stayed busy outside the ring, returning to bodybuilding competition while continuing to train.
What Comes Next
Grace signed with WWE in January 2025 after starring in NXT during the WWE NXT-TNA working relationship, and moved to the main roster in January 2026. She remains under contract with years left on her deal, and those close to the situation say WWE still holds her in favorable regard. For now, her return is a question of when, not if.
