Nikki Bella’s WWE return is doing serious business behind the scenes. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, the company has been heaping praise on Bella lately — and a bigger spotlight could be coming.

“WrestleVotes is told that Nikki Bella has been drawing praise within WWE as of late, with her social media numbers continuing to impress week after week,” the report states. Since returning to the company a few years back, Bella has reportedly exceeded internal expectations — not just in digital engagement, but also in the merchandising department.
One source told WrestleVotes they “wouldn’t be surprised to see the company put a bigger spotlight on Bella going forward.”
Women’s Title Match on October 30 SmackDown
The timing is perfect: Bella is set to challenge Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s Championship on the October 30 episode of SmackDown, putting her right back in the title picture.
Her recent television work has been getting attention too. Her October 16 match against Paige got personal when the two started trolling each other with John Cena’s signature moves — the STF, Five Knuckle Shuffle and even an Attitude Adjustment. Paige stole the win by using the ropes for leverage, but that loss clearly hasn’t knocked Bella out of WWE’s plans.
She may not need to win every week to prove her value — the numbers are apparently doing plenty of talking.
