Based on the popular web novel of the same name, “What a Boss Wants” stars Sung Hoon as Kwon Do Hyuk, a chaebol boss and the cool-headed CEO of OYES Entertainment. A perfectionist who tolerates zero errors, he sets out to find a mysterious woman whose voice he once heard on an album. Oh Se Young plays Lee Eun Chae, the lead vocalist of an indie band who becomes the one unpredictable variable in his otherwise flawless life.
Kwon Do Hyuk vs Moon Tae Kyung: Cold CEO or Warm Doctor?
The heart of the drama is the clash between its two male leads. Sung Hoon’s Kwon Do Hyuk leads with a cold gaze, commanding presence, and a faint smile that hides his aloofness — a classic K-drama chaebol with a flawless exterior. Opposite him, Lee Jung Shin plays Moon Tae Kyung, a talented and warm-hearted pediatrician whose sunny smile and gentle nature have made him the most popular man at his hospital.
Between the prickly perfectionist and the dependable doctor, Lee Eun Chae faces what the production calls an impossible decision — and viewers will get to pick their team when the show premieres. Newly released stills and teasers show the trio’s chemistry already sparking, with Oh Se Young caught between the two men’s very different charms.
