AI agents are good at doing work, but awkward to actually talk to. Agent Inbox, a new launch from notification-infrastructure company Novu, solves that by giving every AI agent its own email address, Slack handle and Telegram handle — all behind a single API. It launched on Product Hunt in 2026.

The Problem Agent Inbox Solves
Most teams end up stitching together the same plumbing for every agent: a Slack bot here, a Telegram webhook there, a shared Gmail account nobody fully trusts. Every agent gets its own glue, and every glue setup is slightly broken. Agent Inbox replaces all of that with one inbox — you message your agent from wherever you already work, and it replies in the same thread.
What You Can Do With It
According to Novu co-founder and CTO Dima Grossman, the day-one use cases include forwarding an email to your agent and having it handle the reply, approving or rejecting an agent’s action straight from Slack, and getting a Telegram ping when a long-running job finishes.
The product works with Claude, Grok, OpenAI, Hermes and any other agent framework, and the makers say setup takes less than two minutes. The inbox keeps a full thread of conversation history — including approved tool calls, decisions and human-in-the-loop resolutions — so the agent always has full context on past choices.
Who It Is For — and What’s Next
Agent Inbox is open-source and aimed at developers building agent-based workflows who want a reliable, channel-agnostic way to reach their agents. The team is asking the community which channel to add next: WhatsApp, Discord or SMS. No pricing was announced with the launch, so check the official page for current terms before committing.
