Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil Halloween Special: What to Expect
True to its name, the special leans all the way into the Halloween spirit. Danhausen, one of wrestling’s most unique and beloved characters, hosts the evening from his laboratory, a setting tailor-made for his macabre sense of humor and his love of all things spooky.
Fans can expect a lineup of spooky matches featuring scary Superstars, alongside special guest appearances that keep the night full of surprises. It is the kind of offbeat, character-driven showcase that has made Danhausen a cult favorite wherever he appears, and Halloween is the one night of the year when his very nice, very evil persona fits perfectly.
How to Watch Danhausen’s Halloween Special
The special airs on YouTube following the October 27 episode of NXT, making it easy for fans to keep the Halloween festivities rolling after the brand’s weekly show wraps up. WWE has increasingly used YouTube for special presentations like this one, giving fans free, easily accessible bonus content tied to its biggest seasonal moments.
For Danhausen fans, the special is also a welcome spotlight. The former AEW star’s move into the WWE orbit has been one of the more intriguing character stories of the year, and a Halloween showcase built around him is a natural fit. His mix of horror-movie theatrics and deadpan comedy has always been at its best when given room to breathe, and a full special gives him exactly that.
So dim the lights, step into the laboratory and get ready for a very nice, very evil Halloween. Danhausen is waiting, and he has some tricks up his sleeve.
