Jake Paul vs Cedric Doumbe Fight Details
This will be Paul’s first fight since being knocked out by Anthony Joshua in December 2025. For Doumbe, the bout marks his first boxing match since April 2015 — he carries a 1-0 boxing record, a decorated 63-7-1 kickboxing record, and a 6-1 MMA record.
Paul did not hold back in his statement on the announcement. “Cedric was calling me out two years ago after knocking a guy out in nine seconds. Well, now you get your chance,” Paul said. “I’m rusty, my jaw isn’t quite right and I don’t have kickboxing world titles like you do. But this isn’t kickboxing, mon ami. This is boxing. Just like Oleksandr Usyk feasted on Rico Verhoeven, I’m going to eat you for dinner in Dubai on Christmas Eve.”
Broadcaster for Jake Paul’s Dubai Fight Still Unannounced
A broadcaster has yet to be announced for the December 24 card, with more details expected as fight week approaches. The bout is Paul’s first test of a rebuilt jaw after the Joshua defeat, and Doumbe’s kickboxing pedigree makes him a dangerous pick for a comeback opponent.
